Email (extract) I sent to reporter Alison Bevege. This freelance reporter should be commended and given a medal.

Late last year Alison attended a public event held by Hizb it – Tahrir. A very extreme Muslim political group. Which in other countries have been shut down. Alison was told she would have to sit with the Muslim women at the back of the building. Alison questioned this of course, voiced her right’s. He still insisted she would have to move to the rear or leave. In the end Alison did shift to a different chair

After being discriminated against at the function, reporter Alison Bevege has filed a discrimination suit against this radical group. Suing for $100,000 which is intended towards charity. It is well within her right’s, due to our Australian law’s. Also being a public seminar there is even less grounds for this rude shift.

Dear Alison,

Your case is very well founded, good on you for standing your ground. Women of Islam are segregated as second class. Their testimony is half of a man for divorce etc. A women has to petition the rules of sharia to ask for divorce, a man on the other hand can simply turn around & divorce her with one word. With out seeking sharia.

Women are verbally abused or temporarily abandoned as punishment for disobedience. If the woman does not fall into line, then Muhammad permits the men to beat the women. Whether that is a wife, daughter, sister, sister in law, cousin or slave etc. Just because their false religion says so, doesn’t make it right.

The huge point with this is YOU ARE “NOT” A MUSLIM.

They have no right to treat you that way! You are an Australian, living in Australia. They are the one’s going against our constitution! They blatantly are ignoring their citizen pledge to Australia as well. How dare they I say!

Your case is so incredibly important. They need to wake up & realise what country they are in! Obey our law’s, NOT THEIR SHARIA law’s! They are continually pushing their beliefs on everyone! Making us conform to their religion! Enough is enough. Enough of being scared, of offending their beliefs. Enough of being called racists & bigoted. I have never been racist in my whole life. It offend’s me to the core, being constantly called it by anti racist groups. Which Islam have tricked into their web of deceit! I get called a bigot constantly! You know what I say now? I am a proud, courageous bigot with morals!

I will never support a religion that degrades a woman’s worth, condones verbal & physical abuse of women, condones rape of slaves or infidels, encourage’s child brides & pedophilia, stoning to death or 100 lashes of adulterous women, 100 lashes to a man, encourages honor killings of women, make boy’s follow through with honor killings of their mother, sister or any woman (because a boy will receive lesser sentence). Promotes killings of Jews, Christian’s & non believers. Or enforce Jizya tax so we can practice our own religion. Forced submission to Allah, submit, pay or die. Deception to spread Islam way of living on all. Destruction of other religions & historical buildings or artifacts. Beheading of non believers. Sharia law & Islamic government system. The list & verses are never ending. Yes the Qur’an has peaceful passages BUT, it is only directed & permitted to *fellow Muslims* ONLY.

YES, Islam can be gracious to non believers ONLY to further Islam! *No other reason* or it would be a sin.

Below are only some deception Eexamples  : The Qur’an teaches deception, it is instructed by Allah & Muhammad to do so. Deceive the unbelievers, in the name of Allah to further the cause of Islam. As Allah is the best of all deceiver’s.

There are four distinct type’s of lying taught in Islam (the Qur’an) by their singular prophet Muhammad.

LYING see also DECEPTION.The morality of lying is one of the most confusing aspects of Islamic thought and, as a result, creates the impression that whether a truthful, or deceitful, depends entirely on the ethics of the situation.

At first glance, Islam appears to place great importance on the truth:

And cover not Truth with falsehood, nor conceal the Truth when ye know (what it is). (YA, al-Baqarah 2:42)

There are TWO categories of lies which are not tolerated in Islam:1. A lie against Allah. Who can be more wicked than one who inventeth a lie against Allah, or saith, “I have received inspiration,” when he hath received none, or (again) who saith, “I can reveal the like of what Allah hath revealed”? If thou couldst but see how the wicked (do fare) in the flood of confusion at death! – the angels stretch forth their hands, (saying), “Yield up your souls: this day shall ye receive your reward,- a penalty of shame, for that ye used to tell lies against Allah, and scornfully to reject of His signs!” Sura 6:932.

A Lie against Muhammad Narrated Al-Mughira: I heard the Prophet saying, “Ascribing false things to me is not like ascribing false things to anyone else. Whosoever tells a lie against me intentionally then surely let him occupy his seat in Hell-Fire.” … (Sahih al- Bukhari 2.378, cf. 1.106-108)Lying to, or about, fellow Muslims is also a sin according to the Traditions.

Cases in which lying IS permitted. One of the most interesting moral dilemmas for Islam are the cases in which lying is permitted. The Traditions tell us that there are three instances where deception can be used:Humaid b. ‘Abd al-Rahman b. ‘Auf reported that his mother Umm Kulthum daughter of ‘Uqba b. Abu Mu’ait, and she was one amongst the first emigrants who pledged allegiance to Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him), as saying that she heard Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: A liar is not one who tries to bring reconciliation amongst people and speaks good (in order to avert dispute), or he conveys good. Ibn Shihab said he did not hear that exemption was granted in anything what the people speak as lie but in three cases: in battle, for bringing reconciliation amongst persons and the narration of the words of the husband to his wife, and the narration of the words of a wife to her husband (in a twisted form in order to bring reconciliation between them). (Sahih Muslim, Hadith number 6303-05; see also Sahih al-Bukhari 3.857) More information is provided by William Muir’s “Life of Mahomet”, Volume I, footnote 88:The common Moslem belief is that it is allowable to tell a falsehood on four occasions:1st, to save one’s life; 2nd, to effect a peace or reconciliation; 3rd, to persuade a woman; 4th, on the occasion of a journey or expedition.

To save one’s life, the first is borne out by Mahomet’s express sanction. Ammar ibn Yasir was sorely persecuted by the pagans of Mecca, and denied the faith for his deliverance. The Prophet approved of his conduct: – “If they do this again, then repeat the same recantation to them again.” Katib al Wackidi; p. 227 ½. Another tradition preserved in the family of Yasir, is as follows: – “The idolators seized Ammar, and they let him not go until he had abused Mahomet and spoken well of their gods. He then repaired to the Prophet, who asked of him what had happened.” – “Evil, oh Prophet of the Lord! I was not let go until I had abused thee, and spoken well of their gods.” – “But how,” replied Mahomet, “dost thou find thine own heart?” – “Secure and steadfast in the faith.” – “Then,” said Mahomet, “if they repeat the same, do thou too repeat the same.” Ibid. Mahomet also said that Ammar’s lie was better than Abu Jahl’s truth.

To effect a peace or reconciliation. The second is directly sanctioned by the following tradition:- “That person is not a liar who makes peace between two people, and speaks good words to do away their quarrel, although they should be lies. Mishcat, vol ii. p.427.To persuade a womanAs to the third, we have a melancholy instance that Mahomet did not think it wrong to make false promises to his wives, in the matter of Mary his Egyptian maid. [This article provides more information on this incident.] On the occasion of a journey or expedition. And regarding the fourth, it was his constant habit in projecting expeditions (excepting only that to Tabuk) to conceal his intentions, and to give out that he was about to proceed in another direction from the true one.

Hishami, p. 392; Katib al Wackidi, p. 133 ½.What was Muhammad’s attitude towards lying?

Muhammad treated truth and deception according his own style of situational ethics. Muhammad condoned, and actually permitted, lying to further his goals: For example, narrated Jabir bin ‘Abdullah:Allah’s Apostle said, “Who is willing to kill Ka’b bin Al-Ashraf who has hurt Allah and His Apostle?” Thereupon Muhammad bin Maslama got up saying, “O Allah’s Apostle! Would you like that I kill him?” The Prophet said, “Yes,” Muhammad bin Maslama said, “Then allow me to say a (false) thing (i.e. to deceive Kab). “The Prophet said, “You may say it.” … (Sahih al-Bukhari 5.369, cf. the article on Ka’b bin Al-Ashraf for further details)Muhammad clearly condoned dishonesty, as well as murder, when it suited his purposes.

Lying today Imam Abu Hammid Ghazali says: “Speaking is a means to achieve objectives. If a praiseworthy aim is attainable through both telling the truth and lying, it is unlawful to accomplish through lying because there is no need for it. When it is possible to achieve such an aim by lying but not by telling the truth, it is permissible to lie if attaining the goal is permissible.”

(Ahmad ibn Naqib al-Misri, The Reliance of the Traveller, translated by Nuh Ha Mim Keller, amana publications, 1997, section r8.2, page 745)

Note that Al-Ghazali is one of the most famous and respected Muslim theologians of all time. Articles which are exploring this topic further: Understanding Dishonesty and Deceit in IslamIs Lying a Sin, or Just a Good Strategy?

One of the foundational theological problems for Islam in this matter is the fact that Allah prides himself to be “the best of deceivers” (Âl ‘Imran 3:54, Al-Anfal 8:30). How then can deception be negative and morally wrong for Muslims when it is a matter of pride for Allah, the god of Islam?

For a detailed discussion of this matter, see Allah – The Greatest Deceiver of them All and further articles listed under DECEPTION.

One specific instance of a Muslim missionary using deception to make Islam look more acceptable to a Western audience:

Sunni Muslims and Taqiyyah. One should always be very cautious and careful regarding debating Muslims, as many see no problem to use lies and deception on those occasions. Often times, they do not understand dialogue and debate meetings as an open and honest exchange of convictions, but it is part of the Islamic war against unbelievers in another form, and “war is deceit” as Muhammad said.

A couple of examples are given in these articles:Nadir Ahmed: Taqiyya Incarnate Jesus as God’s Son in Luke-Acts: Responding to the Distortions of a Muslim Taqiyyist and deception (a.k.a. the wise choice of words) also features in the high-profile “dialogue” initiated by a letter of 138 Muslim scholars to the leaders of all Christian churches, see the detailed analysis The Truth About “A Common Word” and other material provided in our overview page on “A Common Word Between Us And You”.

For further implications and current reality, see e.g.The Islamic Agenda And Its BlueprintsThe Peace of Jerusalem and Yasser ArafatIslamic Law On Female Circumcision. Civilization of Deception Two articles giving details regarding a particularly blatant case of Muslim lies for political expediency: The Muslim Claim to Jerusalem The Modern Destruction of the Temple Mount (this is criminal!) One particular deception that resulted in great destruction and the killing of innocent people: The Muhammad Cartoon Hoax (for further discussion of the cartoon issue, see Is Islam above Criticism?) Sunni Muslims often criticize the Shi’a for their use of Taqiyya, or not showing their faith openly. In other words, if a Shi’a Muslim’s life is in danger, he may lie as long as he has Ali in his heart.

Below verses of inequality of women :

The Qur’an:Qur’an (4:34) – “Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping-places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great.”

Contemporary translations sometimes water down this word, but it is the same one used in verse 8:12 and clearly means ‘to strike’. Qur’an (38:44) – “And take in your hand a green branch and beat her with it, and do not break your oath…” Allah telling Job to beat his wife (Tafsir).

From the Hadith: Bukhari (72:715) – A woman came to Muhammad and begged her to stop her husband from beating her. Her skin was bruised so badly that she it is described as being “greener” than the green veil she was wearing. Muhammad did not admonish her husband, but instead ordered her to return to him and submit to his sexual desires.

Bukhari (72:715) – “Aisha said, ‘I have not seen any woman suffering as much as the believing women'” This is Muhammad’s own wife complaining of the abuse that the women of her religions suffer relative to other women. Muslim (4:2127) – Muhammad struck his favorite wife, Aisha, in the chest one evening when she left the house without his permission. Aisha narrates, “He struck me on the chest which caused me pain.” Muslim (9:3506) – Muhammad’s father-in-laws (Abu Bakr and Umar) amused him by slapping his wives (Aisha and Hafsa) for annoying him. According to the Hadith, the prophet of Islam laughed upon hearing this.

Abu Dawud (2141) – “Iyas bin ‘Abd Allah bin Abi Dhubab reported the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) as saying: Do not beat Allah’s handmaidens, but when ‘Umar came to the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) and said: Women have become emboldened towards their husbands, he (the Prophet) gave permission to beat them.” At first, Muhammad forbade men from beating their wives, but he rescinded this once it was reported that women were becoming emboldened toward their husbands. Beatings are sometimes necessary to keep women in their place.

TheReligionofPeace.comGuide to Understanding IslamWhat does theReligion of PeaceTeach About…A Woman’s Worth Relative to a Man’s

Question: Does Islam teach that a woman is worth less than a man?

Summary Answer: Absolutely. The only debatable point is by what degree.

The Qur’an:Qur’an (4:11) – (Inheritance) “The male shall have the equal of the portion of two females” (see also verse 4:176).

In Islam, sexism is mathematically established.Qur’an (2:282) – (Court testimony) “And call to witness, from among your men, two witnesses. And if two men be not found then a man and two women.” Muslim apologists offer creative explanations to explain why Allah felt that a man’s testimony in court should be valued twice as highly as a woman’s, but studies consistently show that women are actually less likely to tell lies than men, meaning that they would make more reliable witnesses.Qur’an (2:228) – “and the men are a degree above them [women]”Qur’an (5:6) – “And if ye are unclean, purify yourselves. And if ye are sick or on a journey, or one of you cometh from the closet, or ye have had contact with women, and ye find not water, then go to clean, high ground and rub your faces and your hands with some of it” Men are to rub dirt on their hands if there is no water to purify them following casual contact with a woman (such as shaking hands).Qur’an (24:31) – Women are to lower their gaze around men, so they do not look them in the eye. (To be fair, men are told to do the same thing in the prior verse).Qur’an (2:223) – “Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will…” A man has dominion over his wives’ bodies as he does his land. This verse is overtly sexual. There is some dispute as to whether it is referring to the practice of anal intercourse, which it has been used historically to justify. If this is what Muhammad meant, however, then it would appear to contradict what he said in Muslim (8:3365).Qur’an (4:3) – (Wife-to-husband ratio) “Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four” Inequality by numbers.

Qur’an (53:27) – “Those who believe not in the Hereafter, name the angels with female names.” Angels are sublime beings, and would therefore be male.

Qur’an (4:24) and Qur’an (33:50) – A man is permitted to take women as sex slaves outside of marriage. Note that the verse distinguishes wives from captives (those whom they right hand possesses).

From the Hadith:Bukhari (6:301) – “[Muhammad] said, ‘Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?’ They replied in the affirmative. He said, ‘This is the deficiency in her intelligence.

‘”Bukhari (6:301) – continued – “[Muhammad said] ‘Isn’t it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?’ The women replied in the affirmative. He said, ‘This is the deficiency in her religion.'” Allah has made women deficient in the practice of their religion as well, by giving them menstrual cycles.

Bukhari (2:29) – Women comprise the majority of Hell’s occupants. This is important because the only women in heaven ever mentioned by Muhammad are the virgins who serve the sexual desires of men. (A weak Hadith, Kanz al-`ummal, 22:10, even suggests that 99% of women go to Hell).

Bukhari (62:81) – “The Prophet said: “‘The stipulations most entitled to be abided by are those with which you are given the right to enjoy the (women’s) private parts (i.e. the stipulations of the marriage contract).'” In other words, the most important thing a woman brings to marriage is between her legs.

Bukhari (62:58) – A woman presents herself in marriage to Muhammad, but he does not find her attractive, so he “donates” her on the spot to another man.

Muslim (4:1039) – “A’isha said [to Muhammad]: ‘You have made us equal to the dogs and the asses'” These are the words of Muhammad’s favorite wife, complaining of the role assigned to women under Islam.

Abu Dawud (2:704) – “…the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) said: When one of you prays without a sutrah, a dog, an ass, a pig, a Jew, a Magian, and a woman cut off his prayer, but it will suffice if they pass in front of him at a distance of over a stone’s throw.”

Abu Dawud (2155) – Women are compared to slaves and camels with regard to the “evil” in them. Ishaq 593 “As for Ali, he said, ‘Women are plentiful, and you can easily change one for another.'”

Ali was raised as a son by Muhammad. He was also the 4th caliph. This comment was made in Muhammad’s presence without a word of rebuke from him.

Ishaq 593 – “From the captives of Hunayn, Allah’s Messenger gave [his son-in-law] Ali a slave girl called Baytab and he gave [future Caliph] Uthman a slave girl called Zaynab and [future Caliph] Umar another.” – Even in this world, Muhammad treated women like party favors, handing out slave girls to his cronies for sex.

Ibn Ishaq (693) – “Then the apostle sent Sa-d b. Zayd al-Ansari, brother of Abdu’l-Ashal with some of the captive women of Banu Qurayza to Najd and he sold them for horses and weapons.” Muhammad traded captured women for horses.

Al-Tirmidhi 3272 – “When Allah’s Messenger was asked which woman was best he replied, ‘The one who pleases (her husband) when he looks at her, obeys him when he gives a command, and does not go against his wishes regarding her person or property by doing anything of which he disapproves’.

“Tabari VIII:117 – The fate of more captured farm wives, whom the Muslims distributed amongst themselves as sex slaves: “Dihyah had asked the Messenger for Safiyah when the Prophet chose her for himself… the Apostle traded for Safiyah by giving Dihyah her two cousins. The women of Khaybar were distributed among the Muslims.

“Tabari IX:137 – “Allah granted Rayhana of the Qurayza to Muhammad as booty.

“Ishaq 969 – “Men were to lay injunctions on women lightly, for they were prisoners of men and had no control over their persons.” – This same text also justifies beating women for flirting.

Tabari Vol 9, Number 1754 – “Treat women well, for they are [like] domestic animals with you and do not possess anything for themselves.” From Muhammad’s ‘Farewell Sermon’.

Additional Notes:The attempt to paint Islam as a pioneering force in women’s rights is a recent one, corresponding with the efforts of Muslim apologists (not otherwise known for their feminist concerns) and some Western academics prone to interpreting history according to pre-formed conclusions.

In truth, the Islamic religious community has never exhibited an interest in expanding opportunities for women beyond the family role. The fourth Caliph, who was Muhammad’s son-in-law and cousin, said just a few years after the prophet’s death that “The entire woman is an evil. And what is worse is that it is a necessary evil. “A traditional Islamic saying is that, “A woman’s heaven is beneath her husband’s feet.

“One of the world’s most respected Quran commentaries explains that, “Women are like cows, horses, and camels, for all are ridden.”

(Tafsir al-Qurtubi) The revered Islamic scholar, al-Ghazali, who has been called ‘the greatest Muslim after Muhammad,’ writes that the role of a Muslim woman is to “stay at home and get on with her sewing. She should not go out often, she must not be well-informed, nor must she be communicative with her neighbors and only visit them when absolutely necessary; she should take care of her husband… and seek to satisfy him in everything… Her sole worry should be her virtue… She should be clean and ready to satisfy her husband’s sexual needs at any moment.” [as quoted from Ibn Warraq]

A Yemeni cleric recently explained in a television broadcast what it is that makes women inferior and unable, say, to serve as good witnesses: “Women are subject to menstruation, when their endurance and mental capacity for concentration are diminished. When a woman witnesses a killing or an accident, she becomes frightened, moves away, and sometimes even faints, and she cannot even watch the incident.

“During a 2012 talk show on an Egyptian television channel, a cleric slammed Christianity – in part for teaching gender equality: “the Christian religion does not differentiate between women and men, but it confirms their perfect equality: It gives them an equal share in inheritance, it bans divorce, and it bans polygamy.

“In 2014, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan emphasized that men and women are not equal: “Our religion has defined a position for women (in society): motherhood.

“The many opportunities denied women under Islamic law, from giving equal testimony in court to having the right to exclude other wives from their marital bed, is very clear proof that women are of lesser value then men in Islam. Muslim women are not even free to marry outside the faith without being killed by their own families.

Islamic law also specifies that when a woman is murdered by a man, her family is owed only half as much “blood money” (diya) as they would be if she had been a man. (The life of a non-Muslim is generally assessed at one-third).

Although a man retains custody of his children in the event of his wife’s death, a non-Muslim woman will automatically lose custody of her children in the event of her husband’s death unless she converts to Islam or marries a male relative of within his family. Even the rights of Muslim mothers are subordinate to her husband’s family. Contemporary Muslims like to counter that Arabs treated women as camels prior to Muhammad. This is somewhat questionable, given that Muhammad’s first wife was a wealthy woman who owned property and ran a successful business prior to ever meeting him. She was even his boss… (although we’re sure that changed after the marriage).

Still, it is somewhat telling that Islam’s treatment of women can only be defended by contrasting it to an extremely primitive environment in which women were supposedly non-entities.

Homa Darabi was a talented physician who took her own life by setting herself on fire in public protest of the oppression of women in Islamic Iran. She did this after a 16-year-old girl was shot to death for wearing lipstick. In the book, Why We Left Islam, her sister includes a direct quote from one of the country’s leading clerics.

“The specific task of women in this society is to marry and bear children. They will be discouraged from entering legislative, judicial, or whatever careers which may require decision-making, as women lack the intellectual ability and discerning judgment required for these careers.

In closing : As we are witness to plenty of scriptures & testimonials, a woman is definitely under a man. Extreme in discrimination which is undeniable.
